About Us
Fleet-Palmerston was founded by Chris Kay and Roy Allen in 1986. We import and wholesale Rattan Furniture and Basketware. We supply a wide range of retailers - specialist cane furniture shops, large department stores, bathroom accessory shops and mail order.
All our furniture is made of rattan grown in Asia, primarily in Indonesia. This is a natural renewable resource, so it will continue to grow after cutting, and it grows fast.
A recurrent theme of our range is the hand-woven rattancore or centre cane, which provides a strong and beautiful surface often called wicker. The solid core of rattan provides durability.
